ORDINANCE NO. 6921
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) .
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia II by changing the
zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property located where the southeast right-of-way line of Peach Orchard
Road intersects the south right-of-way line of Gracewood Cemetery Road;
and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General
Business) affecting property as follows:
"
Beginning at a point located where the southeast
right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road intersects
the south right-of-way line of Gracewood Cemetery
Roadi thence, in an easterly direction a long the
south right-of-way line of Gracewood Cemetery Road
a distance of 287.80 feet to a pointi thence,in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 211.60 feet
to a point ithence, in a northwesterly direction a
distance of 290 feet, more or less, to a point
located on the southeast right-of-way line of Peach
Orchard Roadi thence, in a northeasterly direction
along the southeast right-of-way line' of ,Peach
Orchard Road of beginning. This property contains
approximately 1.05 a distance of 119 feet, more or
less, to the point acres and is known. under the
present numbering system as 3601 Cemetery Road.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
