ORDINANCE NO. 6920
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone LI (Light
Industry) to Zone R-IE (One-family Residential) affecting property located on the
southwest comer of the intersection of Seventh Street and Hall Street; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone R-IE (One-family Residential)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southwest corner of
the intersection of Seventh Street and Hall Street;
thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-
of-way line of Seventh Street a distance of 94 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly
direction a distance of 104 feet, more or less, to a
point located on the southeast right-of-way line of
Twiggs Street; thence, in a northeasterly direction
along the southeast right-of-way line of Twiggs Street a
distance of 75 feet, more or less, to a point located on
the southwest right-of-way line of Hall Street; thence,
in an easterly direction along the southwest right-of-
way line of Hall Street a distance of 62 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning. This property contains
.16 acres and is known under the present numbering the
present numbering as 1122 Twiggs Street. (Tax Map 060-1
Parcels 056)
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
