An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A
(Agriculture) and Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of Gordon Highway, 2,900
feet, more or less, west of a point where Old Gordon Highway intersects; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) and Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way
line of Gordon Highway, 2,900 feet, more or less, west
of a point where Old Gordon Highway intersects; thence,
in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way
line of Gordon Highway a distance of 1,330 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a
distance' of 1,060 feet, more or. less, to a point;
thence, N 76030'11" E a distance of 1,343.71 feet to a
point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of
1,139 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
this property contains approximately 34 acres. (Part of
Tax Map 080 Parcel 001 and Tax Map 64 Parcel 004-01)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
