ORDINANCE 6897
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by
the Augusta- Richmond Couq,ty Commission effective September 16,
1997 by amending Section 29-4 (b). (Exceptions and Modifications) of the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.
THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amended by deleting Section
29-4 (b) (Exceptions and Modifications) in its' entirety:
SECTION n. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amended by adding a new
Section 29-4 (b) (Exceptions and Modifications):
(b) Eave or canopy: . An eave, canopy, or other similar architectural
feature may extend into any required yard not more than three (3)
feet.

SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are
hereby repealed.
