An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone P-l
(Professional) to Zone R-IE (One-family Residential) affecting property located on
the southwest comer of the intersection of Central A venue and Wilson Street; and
for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-l (Professional) to Zone R-IE (One-family Residential)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southwest corner of
the intersection of Central Avenue and Wilson Street;
thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-
of-way line of Wilson Street a distance of 150.0 feet to
a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of
50.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a
distance of 150.0 feet to a point located on the south
right-of-way line of Central Avenue; thence, in an
easterly direction along the south right-of-way line of
Central Avenue; thence, in an easterly direction along
the south right-of-way line of Central Avenue a distance
of 50.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property
contains .17 acres and is known under the present
numbering system as 1862 Central Avenue and 1301 Wilson
Street. (Tax Map 045-3 Parcel 115)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
