HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6894 CRAWFORD AVENUE STARNES STREETORDINANCE Nv. ) & §�4 : An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta - Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R -1C (One- family Residential) to Zone P -1 (Professional) affecting property located where the northwest right -of -way line of Crawford Avenue intersects the southwest right -of- way line of Starnes Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA - RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R - 1C (One - family Residential) to Zone P - 1 (Professional) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point where the northwest right -of -way line of Crawford Avenue intersects the southwest right - of -way line of Starnes Street; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right -of -way line of Crawford Avenue a distance of 41.67 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 110.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 40.0 feet to a point located on the southwest right -of -way line of Starnes Street; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the south right -of -way line of Starnes Street a distance of 110.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .1 acre and is known under the present numbering system as 801 Crawford Avenue. (Tax Map 035 -4 Parcel 435) SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta- Richmond County be subject to the following conditions: That the property be used as an in -home therapy office as described by the petitioner or those uses allowed in an R -1C zone. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 2 0 day of June 2006.
