An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16,1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General
Business) affecting property located on the northeast right-of-way line of New
(
Tobacco Road opposite where Karleen Road intersects; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:

THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone

B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northeast
right-of-way line of New Tobacco Road opposite
where Karleen Road intersects; thence, in a \
northwesterly direction along the northeast right-
of-way line of New Tobacco Road a distance of 233
feet, more. or less, to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 283 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southeasterly direction a distance of 240 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 222 feet,
mo~e or less, to a point located on the northeast
right-of-way line of Tobacco Road; thence, in a
northwesterly direction along the northwest right-
of-way line of New Tobacco Road a distance of 50
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
This property contains 1.36 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 3025 Tobacco
Road (Tax Map 128 Parcel 28)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
