ORDINANCE NO. 6888 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone B:-2 (General Business) affecting property located 575 feet southeast of the southeast right-of-way line of Wade Road and also being 1,700 feet south of Milledgeville Road;; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located 575 feet southeast of the southeast right-of-way line of Wade Road and also being 1,700 feet south of Milledgeville Road; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road a distance of 30 feet, more or less, to a point located on the west right-of-way line of Bobby Jones Expressway; thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-af-way line of Bobby Jones Expressway a distance of 450 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 140 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 420 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 468 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 2.9 acres. (Tax Map 68 Part of Parcel 73) 2-o~-'i9 " I I. Augusta-Richmond County are subject to the following conditions: 1) "that the use of the property be limited to one outdoor advertising sign and those uses permitted in an Agriculture Zone 2) that an access road from Wade Road shall be locked and gated with a minimum of clearing. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 16 _ day of May ,2006.
