An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone BI (Neighborhood Business) and Zone B-2 (General
Business) to Zone B-2 affecting property located on the northwest comer of
the intersection of Washington Road and Alexander Drive; and for the repeal

of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE 'AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone BI (Neighborhood Business) and Zone
B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northwest
corner of the intersection of Washington Road and
Alexander Drive; thence, in a westerly direction
along the north right-of-way line of Washington
Road a distance of 617 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance
of 200 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
westerly direction a distance of 110 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction
a distance of 375 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 386
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 426 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly
direction a distance of 1,190 feet, more or less,
to a point located on the west right-of-way line of
Alexander Drive; thence, a distance of 665 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning. This
property is known under the present numbering
system as 2801 Washington Road and consists of 7
land parcels totaling 17.75 acres. (Tax Map 12
Parcels 67, 68, 69, 70, and 72 and Tax Map 13
Parcels 10 and 13)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
