ORDINANCE NO. 6884
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
"
zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General
Business )affecting property located on the southwest comer of the intersection
of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Fifteenth A venue; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone
B-2 (General Business)affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southwes~
corner of the inte,rsection of Martin Luther King
Jr. Blvd. and Fifteenth Avenue; thence, in a
southerly direction along the southwest right-of-
way line of Fifteenth Avenue a distance of 90 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 57 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly
direction a distance of 50 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a
distance of 100.0 feet to a point; thence, in a
northerly direction a distance of 140 feet, more or
less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-
way line of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd; thence, in
an easterly direction a distance of 150 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning. Thisproperty
contains .40 acres and is known under the present
numbering system as 2200 Martin Luther King Jr.
Blvd. (Tax Map 72-1 Parcel 141)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
