ORDINANCE NO. 6882 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R -1 A (One- ~amily Residential) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property located on the northeast comer of the intersection of Kissingbower Road and Busbia Avenue; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residential) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property as follows: 2-C(,-'3'1 ~ l Beginning at a point located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Kissingbower Road and Busbia Avenue; thence, in a northerly direction along the east right- of-way line of Kissingbower Road a distance of 75 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 224 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 75.0 feet to a point located on the north right-of-way line of Busbia Avenue (unimproved); thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Busbia Avenue a distance of 222 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .4 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1946 Kissingbower Road (Tax Map 71-3 Parcel 137) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for Augusta-Richmond County is subject to the following conditions: That a parking plan be submitted and approved by the Planning Commission before a Certificate of Occupancy is issued. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 18_ day of April ,2006.
