HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6872 EAST BOUNDRY ~ ORDINANCE NO.~~] 2 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensi~e Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) and Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the northeast comer of the intersection of East Boundary and Sand Bar Ferry Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: / THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) and Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: 2- oG, - .~ (, f Beginning at a point located on the northeast corner of the intersection of East Boundary and Sand Bar Ferry Road; thence, in ? northerly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of East Boundary a distance of 270.91 feet to a point located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Broad Street and East Boundary; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right- of-way line of Broad Street a distance of 250 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 300 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Sand Bar Ferry road; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Sand Bar Ferry road a distance of 180 feet, more or less, .to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 1.5 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 101 Sand Bar Ferry Road.. (Tax Map 48-3 Parcel 73.03 and part of Parcel 73.04) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 2L day of MR r r h , 2006.
