ORDINANCE NO. 6871-
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-IE (One-family Residential)
affecting property located approximately 170 feet, more or less, northeast of
Maddox Drive and also being 1,300 feet, more or less, north of
Wrightsboro Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of

Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-IE (One-
family Residential) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located approximately 170
feet, more or less, northeast of Maddox Drive and
also being 1,300 feet, more or less, north of
Wrightsboro Road; thence, N 21043'21" W a distance
of 612.34 feet to a point; thence, S 81024'51" E a
distance of 266.41 feet to a point; thence, S
21043'21" E a distance of 483.35 feet to a point;
thence, S 69038'11" W a distance of 230.06 feet to
the point of beginning. This property contains
2.89 acres. (Part of Tax map 40 Parcel 29)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
