ORDINANCE NO. 6861
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by. the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-IA (One-
family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located
on the southeast right-of-way line of Alexander Drive, 320 feet, more or less, north
of where the centerline of Glenfield Lane intersects; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Alexander Drive,
320 feet, more or less, north of where the centerline of Glenfield Lane intersects;
thence, in a northerly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Alexander
Drive a distance of 101 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction
a distance of 362 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 100.0
feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 377 feet, more less, to
the point of beginning. This property consists of .86 acres and is known under
present numbering system as 1062 Alexander Drive. (Tax Map 13-2; Parcel 2)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
