ORDINANCE NO. 6860
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A
(Agriculture) to Zone R-IE (One-family Residential) affecting property located on
the west right-of-way line of Old Waynesboro Road, 538 feet north of a point
opposite where the centerline of 4-H Club Road intersects and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-IE (One-family Residential)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the west right-of-way line of Old Waynesboro
Road, 538 feet north of a point opposite where the centerline of 4-H Club Road
intersects; thence, N 85043 '00" W a distance of 2,366.11 feet, to a point; thence,
N 32056'00" E a distance of 541.27 feet, to a point; thence, S 85043'00" E a
distance of 2,115 feet, more or less, to a point located on the west right-of-way
line of Old Waynesboro Road; thence, in a southerly direction along the west
right-of-way line of Old Waynesboro Road a distance of 475 feet, more or less, to
the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 24 acres and is the
southern portion of 3745 Old Waynesboro Road. (part of Tax Map 170 Parcel
3.01)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
