An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A
(Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the south
right-of-way line of Tobacco Road 580 feet, more or less, east of Mike Padgett
Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the south right-Gf~way
line of Tobacco Road 580 feet, more or less, east of
Mike Padgett Highway; thence, in an easterly direction
along the south right-of-way line of Tobacco Road a
distance of 78.52 feet to a point; thence, in a
southerly direction a distance of 239 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a
distance of 84.43 feet to a point to a point; thence, in
a northerly direction a distance of 23,9 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning. This property contains
approximately .44 acres and is known under the present
numbering system as 1778 Tobacco Road. (Tax Map 157
Parcel 23.02)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
