An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone LI (Light
Industry) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located approximately
845 feet, more or less, southwest of Doug Barnard Parkway and 800 feet, more or
less, northwest of Bobby Jones Expressway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property as follows:

'Beginning at a point located approximately 845' feet,
more or less, southwest of Doug Barnard Parkway and 800
feet, more or less, northwest of Bobby Jones Expressway;
thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 200
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northwesterly direction a distance of 200 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a
distance of 200 feet to a point; thence, in a
southeasterly direction a distance of 200 feet to the
point of beginning. This property is a .9 acre part of
Barnyard Flea Market located at 1625 Doug Barnard
Parkway. (Part of Tax Map 111 Parcel 27.1)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
