ORDINANCE NO. 6853
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with, all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-IB (One-
family Residential) to Zone R-IC (One-family Residential) affecting property located
where the southeast right-of-way line of Pennsylvania Avenue intersects with the northeast right-
of-way line of Clifton Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IB (One-family Residential) to Zone R-IC (One-family
Residential) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located where the southeast right-
of-way line of Pennsylvania Avenue intersects with the
northeast right-of-way line of Clifton Street; thence,
in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-
of-way line of Pennsylvania Avenue a distance of 50.0
feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a
distance of 180.65 feet to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 50.0 feet to a
~oint located on the northeast right-of-way line of
Clifton Street; thence, in a northwesterly direction
along the northeast right-of-way line of Clifton Street
a distance of 180.65 feet to the point of beginning.
This property contains .21 acres and is known under the
present numbering system as 1920 Pennsylvania Avenue.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
