ORDINANCE NO. 6852
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-l C (One-
family Residential) to Zone P-l (Professional) affecting property located on the
southwest right-of-way line of Laney-Walker Boulevard, 161 feet, more or less, east of Augusta
A venue; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning OrQinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IC (One-family Residential) to Zone P-l (Professional)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of-
way line of Laney-Walker Boulevard, 161 feet, more or
less, east of Augusta Avenue; thence, in a
southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way
line of Laney-Walker Boulevard a distance of 44 feet to
a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance
of 150 feet to a point; thence, in a northwest~rly
direction a distance of 44 feet to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 150 feet to the
point of beginning. This property contains .15 acres
and is known under the present numbering system as 1388
Laney-Walker Boulevard. (Tax Map 46-3 Parcel 258)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
