HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6847 CURRAN ST AND CHAFFEE ORDINANCE NO. 6847 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County <;ommission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residential) and Zone P-I (professional) to Zone P-I (professional) affecting property located; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residential) and Zone P-I (professional) to Zone P-I (professional)affecting property as follows: z-OS'~ )~'I " Beginning at a point located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Curran Street and Chafee Avenue; thence, in a westerly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Curran Street a distance of 354.05 feet to a point located at the intersection of Moore Avenue; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Moore Avenue a distance of 347 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 60047'51" E a distance of 134.39 feet to a point; thence, N 19045'17" E a distance of 27.92 feet to a point; thence, S 67039' 40" E a distance of 138.66 feet to a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Chafee Avenue; thence, in a southerly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of Chafee Avenue a distance of 168 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 66048'39" W a distance of 148.85 feet to a point; thence, S 16034'59" W a distance of 76.66 feet to a ~oint; thence, S 660 50'44" E a distarice of 149.60 feet to a point locate on the northwest right-of-way line of Chafee Avenue; thence, S 16017'05" W along the northwest right-of-way line of Chafee Avenue a distance of 122.42 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 2.3 acres. (Tax Map 45-2 Parcel 262-273, 275, 276 & 277) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
