LQSft~ An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-l (One-family Residential) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone R-IE (One-family Residential) affecting property located on the northwest right-of-way line of Meigs Street, 356 feet south of Walton Way; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-I (One-family Residential) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone R-IE (One-family Residential) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Meigs Street, 356 feet south of Walton Way; thence, S 24048'23" W along the northwest right-of-way line of Meigs Street a distance of 35.04 feet to a point; thence, N 68008'10" W a distance of 150.70 feet to a point; thence, N 56030' 17" W a distance of 62 feet to a point; thence, S 24058'45" W a distance of 120.07 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 300 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 315 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 67049'20" E a distance of 213 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 23011'27" W a distance of 79 feet, more or less, to a point 2 . oS-" / J c::, , located on the northeast right-of-way line of a common alley; thence, in a westerly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of a common alley a distance of 45 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 20027'42" W a distance of 12.13 feet to a point; thence, S 68055'37" E a distance of 89 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 20058'40" W a distance of 56 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 65041"10" E a distance of 64 feet to a point; thence, S 22038"35" W a distance of 7.31 feet to a point; thence, S 42019'42" E a distance of 76 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 68008' 10" E a distance of 133.19 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 2.19 acres and is part of the rear of 2134 & 2138 Wal ton Way and the rear of 925 Meigs Street. (Part of Tax Map 34-4 Parcels 130 &"131, Part of Tax Map 44-2 Parcel 41 and all of Tax Map 34-4 Parcel 136) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 1-5- day of Nov ,2005.
