ORDINANCE NO. .6841 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone P-l (Professional) affecting property located on the southwest right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 185 feet, more or less, southeast of Country Place Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners. of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone P-l (Professional) affecting property as follows: 2-0S-- //1 " Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 185 feet, more or less, southeast of Country Place Dri ve; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway a distance of 80.0 feet to a point;- thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 227 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 139 feet, more or less, toa point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 226 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately .52 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3931 Mike Padgett Highway. (Tax Map 184 Parcel 7) SECTION II . This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps is subject to the following condition: That a 40 foot undisturbed natural buffer be maintained along the property line adjac~nt to Country Place Subdivision. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 1~ day of Nov ,2005.
