HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6834 GORDON HIGHWAY t,~ ., ORDINANCE NO'-6it3-4 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone LI (Light Industry) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway, 1,080 feet, more or less, southwest of Madrid Drive North; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone LI (Light Industry) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway, 1,080 feet, more or less, southwest of Madrid Drive North; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 165 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 725 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 165 feet, more or less, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway a: distance of 715 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 2.7 acres and known as 2338 Gordon Highway. (Part of Tax map 67 Parcel 15) 2 ... OS - (C Co .. SECTION II . This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps is subject to the following stipulations: That all material and equipment storage be completely buffered form the road and adjacent properties. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 18-- day of Oct ,2005.
