An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning of certain nonagricultural
properties from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-I (One-family Residential) on property
currently occupied by less than 40% manufactured homes affecting property located at the
intersection of the centerline of Deans Bridge Road and "the centerline of Butler Creek;; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map to reflect the change of zoning of certain nonagricultural properties from Zone A
( Agriculture) to Zone R -1 (One-family Residential) on property currently occupied by less than 40% manufactured
homes affecting property as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Deans Bridge Road and the centerline of Butler
Creek; thence, in a southeasterly and then an easterly direction along the centerline of Butler
Creek to it's intersection with the centerline of Mike Padgett Hwy.; thence, in a southerly direction
along the centerline of Mike Padgett Hwy. to it's intersection with the centerline of Old
Waynesboro Rd.; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the centerline of Old Waynesboro Rd.
to it's intersection with Spirit Creek; thence, in a westerly and then northwesterly direction along
the centerline of Spirit Creek to it's intersection with the centerline of Deans Bridge Rd.; thence in
a northeasterly direction along the centerline of Deans Bridge Rd. to the point of beginning. A
complete list of all such properties is available at the Planning Commission office.
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
