HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6819 GORDON HIGHWAY .~ , ORDINANCE NO. 6819 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located where the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway intersects with the southwest right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: 2- - 05 - 8':t.. .~ ~ ., Beginning'at a point located where the southeast right- of-way line of Gordon Highway intersects with the southwest right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 314 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southwest segment of Milledgeville Road; thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of the southwest segment of Milledgeville Road a distance of 331 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 152 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway a distance of 287 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains 1.53 acres. (Tax Map 67 Parcel 6.2) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
