ORDINANCE NO. 6817

An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-1A (One-family
Residential) to Zone R-1D (One-family Residential) affecting property located on the north
right-of-way line of Hackle Street, 240 feet, more or less, west of Boy Scout
Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residential) to Zone R-lD (One-family Residential)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at 'a point located on the north right~of-way
line of Hackle Street, 240 feet, more or less, west of
Boy Scout Road; thence, in a westerly direction along
the north right-of-way line of Hackle Street a distance
of 100 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction
a distance of 130 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly
direction a distance of 90 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of
150 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This
property contains .32 acres and is known under the
present numbering system as 2809 Hackle Street. (Tax Map
25-4 Parcel 54)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 1~ day of August ,2005.
