HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6816 CURRY ST ! -. , 'l: .", .,4 ORDINANCE NO. 6816 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residential) to Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Curry Street, 365 feet, more or less, east of Division Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION L That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residential) to Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) affecting property as follows: 2-05- 7'7 . ", "' : r ., " t Beginning at 'a point located on the southeast right-of- way line of Curry Street, 365 feet, more or less, east of Division Street; thence, in an easterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Curry Street a distance of 140 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 271 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of an unnamed Alley; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of an unnamed Alley a distance of 141 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 274 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .87 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 26 & 28 & 30 Curry Street. (Tax Map 27-4 Parcel 22) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for Augusta-Richmond County is subject to the following conditions: That there be no net increase in the number of residential units on the property. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 16_ day of Augus t ,2005.
