ORDINANCE NO. 6813
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A
(Agriculture) to Zone R-1A (One-family Residential) affecting property located on
the northeast right-of-way line of Old Waynesboro Road, 1,650 feet north of
where the centerline of Hancock Mill Lane extended intersects; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-1A (One-family Residential)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-
way line of Old Waynesboro Road, 1,650 feet north of
where the centerline of. Hancock Mill Lane extended
intersects; thence, in a northwesterly direction along
the northeast right-of-way line of Old Waynesboro Road a
distance of 90.0 feet to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 1,240 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly
direction a distance of 1,029 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance
of 740 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northwesterly direction a distance of 825 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning. This property contains
approximately 23.8 acres. (Tax Map 319 Parcel 8)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
