An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R -1 A (One-
family Residential) to Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) affecting property
located on the northwest right-of-way line of Alexander Drive, 1,007 feet north of
Washington Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residential) to Zone R-3B (Multiple-
family Residential) affecting property as follows:

Beginning a~ a point located on the northwest right-of-
way line of Alexander Drive, 1,007 feet north of
Washington Road; thence, N 65041' 00" W a distance of
1,203.08 feet to a point; thence, N 25021'10" E a
distance of 116.24 feet to a point; thence, S 65021'12"
E a distance of 1,200.73 feet to a point located on the
northwest right-of-way line of Alexander Drive; thence,
S 24012'46" W a distance of 109.31 feet along the
northwest right-of-way line of Alexander Drive to the
point of beginning. This property contains 3.1 acres
and is known under the present numbering system as 1085
Alexander Drive. (Tax map 12 Parcel 75)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
