ORDINANCE NO. 6808

An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone HI (Heavy
Industry) to Zone B-2 (General Business) with a Special Exception for an extended stay hotel
per Section 22-2 (d) affecting property located on the northeast comer of the intersection
of River Watch Parkway and Quarry Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone HI (Heavy Industrial) to Zone B-2 (General Business) with a
Special Exception for an extended stay hotel per Section 22-2 (d) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northeast corner of
the intersection of River Watch Parkway and Quarry Road;
thence, N 21029' 14" E along the southeast right-of-way
line of Quarry Road a distance of 296.84 feet to a
point; thence, S 69025'22" E a distance of 291.79 feet
to a point, thence, S 21029'14" W a distance of 296.84
feet to a point located on the northeast right-of-way
line of River Watch Parkway; thence, N 69025' 22" W a
long the northeast right-of-way line of River Watch
Parkway a distance of 291.79 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains 1.99 acres and is
known under the present numbering system as 2995 River
Watch Parkway. (Tax Map 7-2 Parcel 2)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
