ORDINANCE NO. 6803
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Ri~hmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-1A (One-
family Residential) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General
Business) affecting property located on the southwest comer of the intersection Peach Orchard
Road and Lovett Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residential) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southwest corner of
the intersection Peach Orchard Road and Lovett Drive;
thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-
of-way line of Peach Orchard Road a distance of 120
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northwesterly direction a distance of 228 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a
distance of 100 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in a northwesterly direction a distance of 100 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly
direction a distance a distance of 200.0 feet to a point
located on the southwest right-of-way line of Lovett
Drive; thence, in an easterly direction along the
southwest right-of-way line of Lovett Drive a distance
of 300.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property
contains approximately 1 acres and is known under the
numbering system as 2102 Lovett Drive and 3129 Peach
Orchard Road. (Tax Map 110-3 Parcel 61 & 62)
SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta-
Richmond County is subject to the following conditions:

That a no left turn sign be placed at the ~ Lovett Drive
intersection and directional signage be included in the restaurant
parking lot encouraging patrons to utilize Floyd Road to connect
to Reedale Avenue to use the traffic signal at Peach Orchard Road.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
