HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6799 HALL STREET , , ORDINANCE NO. 6799 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-l C (One- family Residential) to Zone R-IE (One-family Residential) affecting property located on the southwest comer of the intersection of Hall Street and Twiggs Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IC (One-family Residential) to Zone R-IE (One-family Residential) affecting property as follows: z -OS".. S<-f . ., Beginning at a point located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Hall Street and Twiggs Street; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of Twiggs Street a distance of 82 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 70 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 130 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Hall Street; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Hall Street a distance of 315 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .70 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1113 Twigg Street and 712 and 722 Hall Street. (Tax Map 59-2 Parcels 151. 3, 158, 159 & 162 ) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 21- day of June ,2005.
