HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6792 MIKE PADGETT HIGHWAY ORDINANCE NO. 6792 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-lB (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affec!ing property located on the west ( right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 300 feet south of Clary Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R~lB (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: z_oS""- $""0 \ . . , Beginning' at a point located on the west right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 300 feet south of Clary Drive; thence in a southerly direction along the west right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway a distance of 75 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 140 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 75 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 140 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .24 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3107 Mike Padgett Highway. (Tax Map 111-3 Parcel 61) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta-Richmond County is subject to the following stipulations: 1) that a formal site plan, including solid board fencing of the rear yard and adequate fencing of the front yard, be submitted and approved by the Planning Commission before this petition is presented to the Augusta (Commission and 2) no Certificate of Occupancy may be issued until the site work is completed and inspected. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinatices in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 17_ day of May ,2005.
