ORDINANCE NO 6788
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone HI (Heavy
Industry) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the southeast right-
of-way line of Gordon Highway, where the centerline of Skyview Drive extended
intersects; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone HI (Heavy Industry) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as
follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway,
where the centerline ofSkyview Drive extended intersects; thence, S 55046'19" E a
distance of 170.57 feet to a point located on the northwest bank of Beaver Dam
Ditch; thence, S 24008'49" W along the northwest bank of Beaver Dam Ditch a
distance of 620 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 41037'34" W a distance of
347.75 feet to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway;
thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon
Highway a distance of 530 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This
property contains 3.17 acres and is known under the present numbering system as
1238 Gordon Highway. (Tax Map 60 Parcel1!.1)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
