An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone Ll (Light Industry)
to Zone R-IE (One-family Residential) affecting property located on the northeast comer of
the intersection of Reynolds Street and Fifteenth Street; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone Ll (Light Industry) to Zone R-lE (One-family Residential) affecting
property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northeast comer of the intersection of
Reynolds Street and Fifteenth Street; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of
30 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 160
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 60 feet,
more or less, to a point located on the north right-of-way line of Reynolds Street;
thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Reynolds
Street a distance of 155 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This
property contains .16 acres and is known under the present numbering system as
1487 Reynolds Street. (Tax Map 36-1 Parcel 37.1)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
