ORDINANCE NO. 6781
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the south right-of-way line of
Wrightsboro Road, 500 feet, more or less, east of Jimmie Dyess Parkway; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as
follows:

Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road,
500 feet, more or less, east of Jimmie Dyess Parkway; thence, in an easterly
direction along the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road a distance of 334
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 348
feet, more or less, to a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Jimmie
Dyess Parkway; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-
way line of Jimmie Dyess Parkway a distance of 360 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 200 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property contains 2.33 acres and is known under the present
numbering system as 3930 Wrightsboro Road. (Tax Map 39 Parcel 56.01)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
