G"" YEAR: ;;2 OD S- BOX NUMBER: :;( S- FILE NUMBER: ) ~ 4>50 NUMBER OF PAGES: ~ \", j z- oS"-"3\ ORDINANCE NO. 6779 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Barton Chapel Road, 80 feet south of Wrightsboro Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: t .' . , . \'. Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Barton Chapel Road, 80 feet south of Wrightsboro Road; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 150 feet to a point located on the west right-of-way line of Cresent Drive; thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-of-way line of Cresent Drive a distance of 74 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 190 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Barton Chapel Road; thence, in a northerly direction along the southeast right-of- way line of Barton Chapel Road a distance of 50 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .27 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1602 Barton Chapel Road and 3500 Cresent Drive. (Tax Map 41 Parcel 38 & 45) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. - ~," Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 19t~ day of April ,2005.
