An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the
northeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road, 300 feet, more or less,
southeast of Deans Bridge Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) and Zone B-1
(Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin
Road, 300 feet, more or less, southeast of Deans Bridge Road; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 230 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 400 feet, more or less, to
a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 132 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 393 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of
100.00 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of
209.0 feet to a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin
Road; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-way
line of Lumpkin Road a distance of 200 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property contains approximately 2.8 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 2567 Lumpkin Road. (Tax map
96-2 Parcels 190 & 191)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
