An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone LI (Light Industry) affecting
property located on the north right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road, 750
feet, more or less, east of a point where the centerline of Luke Road
Extended intersect; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone LI (Light
Industry) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Wrightsboro
Road, 750 feet, more or less, east of a point where the centerline of Luke
Road Extended intersect; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 826
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of
105 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a
distance of 841 feet, more or less, to a point located on the north right-of-
way line of Wrightsboro Road; thence, in a westerly direction a distance
of 102 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains
1.95 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3851
Wrightsboro Road. (Tax map 39 Parcel 21)
SECTION II.
This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for
Augusta-Richmond County is subject to the following stipulations:
1) the only L1 use be a small metal fabricating shop;
2) all work must be conducted inside;
3) any outside storage must be shielded from Wrightsboro Road
and the adjoining side properties.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
