D 5" - (p, 5 't DOCUMENT TYPE: OR\)\NANc.6' YEAR: D~ BOX NUMBER: ~tt FILE NUMBER: ) ry 5" 5 ~ NUMBER OF PAGES: d ;: ::--;..... ,,~ ""I , ' ORDINANCE NO. 6758 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business)affecting property located where the northeast right- of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway intersects with the northwest right-of-way line of Bobby Jones Expressway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and ' for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business)affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located where the northeast right-of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway intersects with the northwest right-of-way line of Bobby Jones Expressway; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway a distance of 3,012 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 23030'22" E a distance of 500 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 800 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 82026' 34" W a distance of 180 feet, more or less, to a point; 2-05"-0\ '" ~-.~ '0 thence, S 45017'24" W a distance of 226.36 feet to a point; thence, S 40035'12" E a distance of 650.36 feet to a point; thence, N 54048'54" E a distance of 238.67 feet to a point; thence, S 62005' 53" E a distance of 580.12 feet to a point; thence, S 19021'38" E a distance of 492,93 feet to a point; thence, S 30036' 53" E a distance of 887.24 feet to a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Bobby Jones Expressway; thence, S 60019' 20" W along the northwest right-of-way line of Bobby Jones Expressway a distance of 146.42 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 23 acres. (Tax map 124 Part of Parcel 6.1 ) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps is subject to the following stipulations: That an undisturbed natural buffer be maintained on the property line as shown on the concept plan submitted. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this .18- day of J an ,2005.
