ORDINANCE No.~7 ~ I ~ An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone HI (Heavy Industry) affecting property located generally 500 feet northeast of the northeast right-of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway and the northwest right- of-way line of Bobby Jones Expressway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Z~ne A (Agriculture) to Zone HI (Heavy Industry) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located generally 500 feet northeast of the northeast right-of- way line of Doug Barnard Parkway and the northwest right-of-way line of Bobby Jones Expressway; thence, N 23030'22" E a distance of 500 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 58 38'45" W a distance of 587.44 feet to a point; thence, N 06030'45" W a distance of 114.22 feet to a point located on the centerline of Rocky Creek; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the centerline of Rocky Creek a distance of 1,486 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 290 57' 32" E a distance of 704.95 feet to a point; thence, N 30004' 17" E a distance of 726.53 2-o</-JI3 ,'1 t-; .c ... I - '~ .. .> feet to a point; thence, N 82025' 58" E a distance of 1,213.10 feet to a point; thence, S 42018'35" W a distance of 1,880.67 feet to a point; thence, 'S 43034"22" W a distance of 64.12 feet to a point,; thence, N 25046'21" W a distance of 289.43 feet to a point; thence, S 37048'11" W a distance of 341.93 feet to a point; thence, S 61004' 53" E a distance of 203.15 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 1,719 feet, more or less, to a point, thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 800 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 75 acres. (Tax Map 124 part of parcel 6.1 and Tax Map 100 Parcel 13) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps is subject to the following stipulations: 1) the petitioner provide an onto Gravel Pit Road to access Management Area and 2) that an undisturbed natural east property line. easement to the State of Georgia the parking area for the Wildlife buffer be maintained along the SECTION III.
