ORDINANCE 6752
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by
the Augusta-Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997
by amending Section 21-1 pertaining to permitted uses in a Neighborhood
Business Zone:
THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amended by adding
the following to Section 21-1 Permitted uses:
(b)(32) Construction Trailers Subject to the following:
a) A Manufactured Home permit shall be acquired from the Augusta-
Richmond County Planning Cortllnission;
b) The location for the Construction Trailer shall be shown and
approved on a Site Plan. Said location shall be as far removed from
and buffered from residential areas and public streets as practical;
c) The Construction Trailer shall be tied down and underpinned; and
d) The Construction Trailer shall be removed from the property prior to
issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy.
SECTION II. All Ordinances or pans of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are
hereby repealed.
Duly adopted by the Augusta-Richmond County Commission on this 4th
day of January
,2005.
