HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6749 MIKE PADGETT HIGHWAY Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: D - oy - leI LJ q DOCUMENT TYPE: DRV\N A NcE YEAR: Q.'DDL\ BOX NUMBER: ::24 FILE NUMBER: 11 5 I ~ NUMBER OF PAGES: ~ I' I ORDINANCE NO. 6749 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the east right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 792 feet, more or less, south of the southeast corner of the intersection of Bennock Mill Road and Mike Padgett Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: z--oy- J I Y ~ i Beginning at a point located on the east right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 792 feet, more or less, south of the southeast comer of the intersection of Bennock Mill Road and Mike Padgett Highway; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 400 feet, more or less; to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 300 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 400 feet, more or less, to a point located on the east right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway; thence, in a northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway a distance of 300 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 2.8 acres and is part of 4474 Mike Padgett Highway. (Tax Map 234 Part of Parcel 38) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 2~ day of Dec ,2004. APPROVED THIS Dec 21 ,2004.
