An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone P-l (Professional) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting
property located on the north right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road, 500 feet,
more or less, east of Wells Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-I (professional) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Lumpkin
Road, 500 feet, more or less, east of Wells Drive; thence, in a northerly
direction a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an
easterly direction a distance of 80 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southerly direction a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to a point located
on the north right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road; thence, in a westerly
direction along the north right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road a distance of
80 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .27
acres and is known under the present numbering system as 2441 and 2443
Lumpkin Road. (Tax Map 97-3 Part of Parcel 206.22)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
