HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6741 PEACH ORCHARD RD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: D- OY - 10 1 Y , DOCUMENT TYPE: D lZ 'b, N A NC€ YEAR: 9-DOl1 BOX NUMBER: ~ 4 FILE NUMBER: ), Y 2" S- NUMBER OF PAGES: :;;;) ORDINANCE NO. 6741 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located where the southeast right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road intersects the southwest right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: z---oQ-17 Beginning at a point located where the southeast right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road intersects the southwest right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway a distance of 515 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 263 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 237 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 326 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast-right- of-way line of Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road a distance of 353 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains 3.66 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 2402 Peach Orchard Road. (Tax Map 86-4 Parcel 126) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 16_ day of Nov ,2004. APPROVEO THIS Nov 16, ,2004.
