An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have be~n approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution ofth.e State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting
property located on the southwest right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road
where the centerline of Maddox Drive extended intersects; and for the repeal
of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of
Wrightsboro Road where the centerline of Maddox Drive extended
intersects; thence, in a'southeasterly direction along the southwest right-
of-way of Wrightsboro Road a distance of 100 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 299 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 100 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of
299 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains
.54 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3674
Wrightsboro Road. (Tax Map 40 Parcel 85)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
