HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6738 WRIGHTSBORO RD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: () - 6 Lt - le I "3 ~ DOCUMENT TYPE: () Rb \ NAN c.. b YEAR: ~ DO \.\ BOX NUMBER: d.. l\ FILE NUMBER: \ 1 L( ~ ~ NUMBER OF PAGES: ~ , , \ ORDINANCE NO. 6738 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-IB (One-family Residential) to Zone R-IC (One-family Residential) with a Special Exception to allow commonwall townhomes per Section 11- 2 (a) of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance affecting property located 245 feet, more or less, south of the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road and being 1,360 feet, more or less, west of Damascus Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1B (One-family Residential) to Zone R-IC (One-family Residential) with a Special Exception to allow commonwall townhomes per Section 11-2 (a) of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance affecting property as follows: 2_D~-~~ .,' f i \ Beginning at a point located 245 feet, more or less, south of the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road and being 1,360 feet, more or less, west of Damascus Road; thence, N 74023'20" E a distance of 58 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 05025'40" W a distance of 216.14 feet to a point; thence, S 74023'20" W a distance of 216.14 feet to a point; thence, N 05025'40" E a distance of 216.14 feet to a point; thence, N 74023'20" E a distance of 158 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 1.0 acres. (Tax Map 42-4 Parcel 15) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta-Richmond County is subject to the following stipulations: 1. That there be no more than 7 units. 2. There be no access to the Summerchase neighborhood. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
