ORDINANCE NO. 6736 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) with conditions to Zone R-ID (One- family Residential) affecting property located on the northeast right-of-way line of Boy Scout Road, a distance of 302.0 feet, more or less, southeast of a point where the centerline of Rae's Creek intersects with the northeast right-of- way line of Boy Scout Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) with conditions to Zone R-ID (One-family Residential) affecting property as follows: z - o'..H ,"1 " \. ., Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Boy Scout Road, a distance of 302.0 feet, more or less, southeast of a point where the centerline of Rae's Creek intersects with the northeast right-of-way line of Boy Scout Road; thence, N 08030'00" W a distance of 193.42 feet to a point located on the centerline of Rae's Creek; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the centerline of Rae's Creek a distance of 2,109.0 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 84050'00" W a distance of 170.62 feet to a point; thence, N 55039'00" W a distance of 1,461.26 feet to a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Boy Scout Road; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Boy Scout Road a distance of 221 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 14.6 acres. (Tax Map 18 Parcel 59) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta-Richmond County be subject to the following stipulations: That no development except underground utilities may be located in the floodplain. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 19 _ day of Oct ,2004.
