An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located located where the southeast right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road intersects the northeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: z.-oq'- ~O " . .. Beginning at a point located where the southeast right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road intersects the northeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road a distance of 225 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 38049'58" E a distance of 200.08 feet to a point; thence, N 69039'25" E a distance of 79.98 feet to a point; thence, S 37027'31" W a distance of232.02 feet to a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road a distance of 317 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 1.5 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3096 Deans Bridge Road. (Tax Map 96-2 Parcel 184 & 189) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 1 ~ day of OC t ,2004. APPROVED THIS Oct 19, ,2004.
