An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential)
affecting property located on the northeast right-of-way line of Pollard Road,
380 feet, more or less, southeast of Pistol Range Road; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAlNS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is anlended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone R-MH
(Manufactured Home Residential) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Pollard
Road, 380 feet, more or less, southeast of Pistol Range Road; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 147 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 263 feet to a point;
thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 156 feet, more or less, to
a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Pollard Road; thence,
in a northeasterly direction a distance of245 feet, more or less, to the point
of beginning. This property contains .88 acres and is known under the
present numbering system as 123 Pollard Road. (Tax Map 61-2 Parcel 5)
SECTION II. This amendment to the Augusta-Richmond County Zoning Maps
is subject to the following stipulation:
1) The zoning classification shall revert to LI if the petitioner does not place a
manufactured home on the property within two years.
2) The zoning classification shall revert to LI if the petitioner removes a manufactured
home for more than two years.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
